Caroline Gozzi

Caroline is the reason YogaVenue exists. Her love of Yoga and movement and desire to bring this to Oxford led to the creation of YogaVenue. She is the co-founder of YogaVenue, the Spiralling Crow Teacher Training School and YogaVenue’s Hot 26 Teacher Training Programme. Caroline has been teaching Yoga since 2005 and is registered as a senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK. She is also a qualified Barre, Pilates Mat and Reformer teacher. She has completed trainings in Hot Yoga with Bikram Choudhury in LA and Vinyasa Yoga with Laughing Lotus in NYC and Barre and Pilates with Emma Newman. Caroline finds that movement enriches and energises her life, be it on the mat, teaching class or out in the world.

Caroline's particular areas of interest are in how movement can be used in injury management, support through medical treatment, female health in particular peri menopause and menopause. 
 


Caroline Gozzi instructs the following:
  • Yoga Sculpt (WARM) (All Levels)
  • In this class we bring together traditional asanas (poses) with strength and sculpting exercises often using props such as resistance bands and hand weights. You get a full body workout. Expect lunges, squats and planks! Heat is added to create a cardio level intensity to the class. 



  • Reformer Strength & Conditioning (Levels 1-2)
  • Our Reformer Pilates strength & conditioning class is a brand new class where we will focus on static and dynamic exercises incorporating the reformer and hand weights. This class is suitable for all levels, having attended our Foundational Reformer classes would be beneficial. 

    This class is 55 minutes long. 

  • Dynamic Reformers Pilates (All Levels)
  • Dynamic Reformer Pilates is a high intensity, low impact, core, muscular strength, and endurance fitness-based class. This full body-blast workout uses continuous and constant tension targeted at burning energy for a long period of time.  Expect to feel the burn and leave with a smile on your face.
    Each class is 55 minutes. 

    Suitable if you are new to reformer Pilates, but we do recommend you attend some of our foundational reformer classes first.


  • Dynamic Mat Pilates (All Levels)
  • Get stronger and leaner with dynamic mat Pilates. The original Pilates class, that allows you to focus on using your muscles in an integrated system to work on strength and stability. 

    Suitable for all levels, props sometimes used. 

  • Hot 26 Hour (All Levels)
  • The Hot26 (Bikram Yoga), often called the healing yoga, is magic in a yoga class! In this shortened 60min class you’ll practice all the 26 postures designed to create alignment, balance, strength & flexibility at least once. Always practiced in the heat, expect to sweat out those toxins to make you feel great. This class is suitable for all levels, perfect for injury rehab, post natal & if you are new to yoga.

  • Online 26 Hour (Live Streamed)
  • The Hot26 (Bikram Yoga), often called the healing yoga, is magic in a yoga class! Your teacher will guide you through the 26  postures designed to create alignment, balance, strength & flexibility. Always practiced in the heat, expect to sweat out those toxins to make you feel great. This class is suitable for all levels, perfect for injury rehab, post natal & if you are new to yoga.
